All about the Engagement

The 518 Common unity cup began in 2022. This started with a conversation between Community Members and Service Providers in support of National Night Out. 5 (Weeks, locations, Sports) 1  (Cause :Community and Police Engagement) and  8 (8th month of the year) 5-1-8 Common Unity Cup was born

The event took on a life of its own. All throughout the City you could see people wearing their "518 Common Unity Cup" T shirts, in the gym, online, at the Movies, at work even. The Movement became undeniable and so the event became a Staple for the City.

Due to the event's popularity and success, we have expanded to parks in Scotia and Bellevue as part of the 5 week Journey. Every year there have been more Police Officers, public Officials, Fire Dept. members, Teachers and more to participate and they bring their families to take part as well.
